The First Donation of The Impossibility Theory Fund!

January 17, 2009. Last Saturday, The Impossibility Theory Fund was able to take part in the annual Canucks Place Skate Day.  This is a special event where Canucks players join the brave children and their families from Canucks Place on the ice of GM Place for a much needed day of fun.  (See canucksplace.org for more information on these inspirational children)  The Impossibility Theory Fund was involved through the donation of copies of “Philmore, Xebob and The Impossibility Theory” to five special families.  In addition, Megan Mitchell (wife of Canucks player Willie Mitchell and Board Member with the Canucks for Kids Fund) took time out to read the first chapter of the book to select audience before the skate.

The Canucks have been a tremendous supporter of both Lucas and his efforts in this project.  Reading the story directly to these children and hearing their “little giggles” is exactly what the this is all about. An extra promotional benefit of this event is that it was taped and portions of it could air during the Canucks Telethon Night March 15th on Rogers SportsNet.
