And the winner is…DANIEL MARTIN!

A month ago The Impossibility Theory Fund put out the challenge for kids to tell us who deserved a copy of the book.  I made a visit out to the group at Windsor Secondary to meet our new special friend, Daniel.  His Mom, Liana entered her son in the contest.  Daniel is great boy doing everything to keep fighting at the challenges in his life.

Daniel is also a HUGE Canucks fan and the visit from Fin went a long way.

While the contest is over, please do not hesitate to send your notes of who should deserve a copy of the book. Our goal is to reach as many kids as possible.

What’s Happening

One Sunday, June 6th I went out into the community to help two great causes.  Firstly, he started the day by being one of the guest “Authors” at the Sharing-Books sponsored events for Room-to-Read.  What a wonderful experience to see firsthand the power of books.

Secondly, I went out to Burnaby to attend a Kelsan who is using my experience as their message to ride the BC Ride to Conquer Cancer event this weekend.  It was another great event to see the power of books and meet the many people who have inspired, but never met.

Good luck to Brian and Kevin on your ride!  (As well as our own Johnathon Strebly who is also taking part in this event!)
